Besides the third quarter when it looked like he was just working on the deep ball he called a really good game. First half was damn near perfect.

Third quarter was a mystery to me. Why he kept dialing up deep balls with a big lead made no sense to me.

I've given up trying to figure him out. Bama looked good against the chickens last night, Bobo better be on his game in a couple weeks.

The 3rd quarter was a mystery but it may have just been Gunner making decisions to throw it deep. He does have options. I don't like the called QB sweeps. Someone mentioned he audibles to those but he is getting blasted and w/o him we are a 4 loss team. Maybe they are being called so that a later time he pulls up and throws a TD pass.

Could be.  I have to say, our WRs aren't great at getting separation.

Whatever happened to making them lose their will? That was what we did during our two B2B years. We had OU on the ropes and didn’t wreck them. The game was pretty much over, but I thought we would come out hot in the 3rd quarter and wear them out but we were throwing bombs on 3rd and 4. Is that Kirby telling Bobo what to do? Or is that the difference between Bobo/Monken or Stetson/Gunner?

Oklahoma's offense is terrible, but make no mistake their defense is legit.

I agree that Bobo had a poor third quarter. But if he was just getting Gunner to get comfortable throwing deep then I'm OK.

3rd quarter was an attempt to do Gunner a favor. It didn’t work out at all. When you start trying to showcase something vs playing against what the defense gives you it usually doesn’t work.

Receivers who have separation speed and ball hawkin' skillz who aren't prima donnas apparently are hard to find. Players too precious to block downfield don't make the short list for Georgia. They do seem to take the field against our side, tho. How 'bout that Talan Thomas one handed catch? Love that kid , covered like a blanket he found a way!
