drive-by, limp-by media sites reported only 39,000 new jobs were filled in May.

Today, without apologies, most sites have corrected this pernicious lie by claiming they all just left off a '1' with the true number being 139,000 new jobs.

Economists had predicted about 120,000 for May.

So instead of a cataclysmic hiring report, we actually have an excellent performance.
