Lil Deaf is stationed out there currently. We will be going at some point.

Wife and I went there for a week before we had kids (43 years ago). Had a great time. We didn't do a cruise but we went to Oahu and Maui. The visit to Pearl Harbor was pretty powerful . we just rented a jeep and took off for the most part exploring all parts of the islands. Beautiful scenery. I surfed on Wakiki beach and watched them surf Pipeline and Waimea. It is expensive on the main drags. Worth the trip, especially if it makes Mama happy

I'd love to visit Hawaii, but I hate flying worse than I want to see the 50th State.

If I never get on a commercial plane again in my life, I'll be happy.

Lived there courtesy of Uncle Sugar from '97-'03. Go to Oahu just to see Waikiki and the Arizona---then leave. Then go to the Big Island and straddle a lava flow just to realize we don't matter in the Big Picture. Maui is nice, but still very damaged. Drive the Road to Hana. Or not if you get car sick!!! Go up to the top of the mountain. They used to have a place where you could rent a bicycle up there and coast downhill for 15 (?) miles!!! It's very expensive.......but very beautiful.

Been couple of times. Beautiful places. OH and they eat a lot of Spam there. It's even on the menu at McDonalds.

Casino's Dad was a Pearl Harbor survivor, so the trips there have a deeper meaning.

I've been there  3 times but momma hasn't. Don't care to fly commercial but, far too expensive for a private flight. Our lower 48 travels is always by vehicle, no flying. Thanks for the info!

Yes, we did this years ago with NCL. we loved it.
