They forgot Bass Fishing and Spikeball? The Georgia Bulldogs have won a total of 51 team national championships, including 32 at the NCAA Division I level and 19 in other varsity sports.

While very successful on the national stage, the Georgia Bulldogs have also brought home a slew of SEC Championships, led by men's tennis which has captured 38 league crowns followed by men's golf with 29. Additionally, Georgia has earned top honors 16 times in Gymnastics, 15 times in football, and eleven times each for women's golf and women's swimming and diving.

Georgia's student-athletes have also won hundreds of individual national championships as well. Swimming's Kara Lynn Joyce leads the charge with 16 individual honors followed closely by Mary DeScenza's 14. Fellow swimmers Maritza Correia contributed eleven and Allison Schmitt added ten. Gymnastics Courtney Kupets added nine of her own.

TRD, wasn't there some controversy around the football National Champs in 46? That was Trippi's team I think and the voters were divided on which team won the National Champ title. I'm prolly wrong though.

I still will claim 46 as the National Champ though.

We don't claim it but we have an outstanding argument in favor of being the best team that year.  Probably should claim it and say FU to whoever disagrees.

Well Army and Notre Dame played each other as undefeated 1 and 2 and they tied. Georgia went undefeated  but still finished #3 as Yankee reporters voted for them two over the Southern team.  We beat North Carolina and Charlie Trippi beat Charlie Choo Choo Justice in the Sugar Bowl and they didn't even go to a Bowl either of them cause of War. Only untied and undefeated team in America had 1 more win but finished 3rd in most Polls including the AP.
