Baring some last minute Oregon $$$ ploy (which we all know can happen), Curtis will be a Dawg at 5:30 today.

That's not what I've been hearing/reading. While I'd like to see him go to UGA, Oregon is what I'm hearing.

We would be better served by The Texas RattleSnake, B-Squared.

Phil and his philanderers have really sweetened the pot. Offer to move the entire family, provide high-paying jobs, stipends, and all the accouterments of Left Coast Libs.

Texas QB Bowe-Bowe Bentley, Celina, Quarterback - 247Sports

Dynamic dual threat who entered the 2026 Top247 rankings after his 10th career start at quarterback. Led TXHSFB blue-blood Celina to a 16-0 record en route to their first state championship since ..2007. Racked up over 4,200 total yards on offense to go along with 63 touchdowns as a junior.

Checked in at the Navy All-American Bowl, hovering around 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, and put together an impressive week of work for an underclassman. Commands a schematically diverse offense that ranged from traditional under-center formations to empty spread sets. Displays an elastic throwing motion that can retain velocity on the move. Finds success working the pocket or escaping to fire second and third-level bullets. Has the ability to layer passes into tight windows and throw with touch when needed. Extensive multi-sport profile includes credentialed soccer and lacrosse experience, along with anchoring his high school's 4x100 relay.

Primarily worked as an offensive skill player as a sophomore, returned a kickoff for a touchdown against the eventual 2023 4AD1 State Champions. Ascending signal-caller who processes the game at a high level. Combination of athletic traits, production, and mental makeup leads us to believe Bentley could develop into an all-conference caliber player for a CFP contender with legitimate Sunday upside...

I've heard so much about Curtis that I don't really care what he does. He isn't a South Georgia qb so he won't lead Georgia to a NC.

I keep thinking Jacob Eason 2.0.

Not denying BB might be a better QB for UGA. But, at this moment…JC’s brother (Mike Bobo) likes Curtis better. If Curtis flips at the last second I expect we put a full court press on BB.

I guess Bobo wants to relive the championships he won with the last superstar qb recruit he brought to Athens.  Who can forget the championship celebrations in Athens when this beast was running that finely tuned Bobo designed offensive machine.

I picked up on the grief thing, no offense taken.

I was at the 2007 game against SC where the greatest offensive genius in Georgia football OC history, combined with the talents of Matthew Stafford at qb, Knowshon Moreno and Thomas Brown at RB, Massaquoi, Henderson and Durham at WR could not manage to score a single touchdown.

The addition of a top tier qb recruit, even if he turns out to be as talented as advertised, is not enough to overcome the ineptitude of Mike Bobo.

Funny…now hearing it’s getting interesting and no one knows 100%. Still leaning UGA. I think that’s where the kids heart is.

As shootist pointed out…might be a good thing if he picks Oregon. We will see.

Looking at Nashville Christian School on the interweb, it looks like a small private school. There are about 420 students in K through 12th grade, so about 30 per grade. Their football schedule has a lot of "Academies" and "Christians" on it. I have to wonder if Curtis might be another Vandergriff or Eason who is a public school level athlete playing in the small private Christian school world?

Could Curtis be another PCS5SS kid?
