ATHENS, Ga. – Ninth-ranked Georgia (36-11) defeated Kennesaw State (22-22) 9-2 on Tuesday in front of a sold-out Foley Field crowd of 3,663 to win the Bulldogs final non-conference game of the regular season. With the win, Georgia finishes the regular season 24-2 against non-conference teams.  Georgia (36-11, 12-9 SEC) will next travel to Columbia, Mo., to face Missouri (13-31, 0-21 SEC) in a three-game series beginning Friday at 7 p.m. ET.

ATHENS, Ga. --- University of Georgia student-athletes gathered together on Monday evening to attend the annual Dawgs Choice Awards Ceremony, presented by the UGA Athletic Association. Christopher Morales Williams of men's track and field was named the Vince Dooley Athlete of the Year, while Dasha Vidmanova of women's tennis was honored as the Liz Murphey Athlete of the Year. Williams set a unofficial world indoor record in the 400 m of 44.49 at the SEC Championships. Vidmanova won the 2024-25 NCAA Singles National Championship.

ATHENS, Ga. --- The Bulldog trio of Riyon Rankin, Ervin Pearson and Stephanie Ratcliffe have earned Southeastern Conference weekly awards following the Tiger Track Classic in Auburn, Ala., according to a league announcement Tuesday. Rankin posted a second attempt personal best clearance at 2.27 meters/7 feet, 5 ¼ inches to win the high jump and shoot into the national lead in his second season.  He ranks third in the school's record books and 14th on the 2025 world list. Pearson flew to second-place honors (top freshman) in the 400-meter dash with a personal best 45.32.  The first-year sprinter ranks 10th nationally (No. 2 freshman nationally and No. 1 SEC freshman) and stands fifth on Georgia's all-time top 10 list. Ratcliffe sent her fifth throw in the hammer the longest distance of her Georgia career (69.69m/228-7) to edge unattached/No. 11 all-time collegiate performer Maddie Malone by nine inches for the win.  This rocketed the Harvard graduate and sixth-year performer to No. 3 on the current collegiate list (top SEC thrower) and No. 2 in the school record books.

ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia football graduate transfer specialists Beau Gardner and Charlie Ham have been included on the 2025 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society, according to an announcement from the NFF and College Football Hall of Fame.

Greensboro, Ga. (April 29, 2025) – Bulldog head coach Kirby Smart and current Seminole offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn took sixth to each earn $12,500 for their respective charities. The nation's premier collegiate coach golf event featured a field of 24 current and former college football coaches, playing in 12 two-man teams.
