I’ve determined most businesses/organizations have a few people at the top that just try and fuck up a normally functioning part of said business/organization.

Does that mean range finders like club golfers use?

What in the hell do they need them for? Everyone on the tour seems to know the exact distance to everything. Seems like a silly thing to for a pro to need. i don't even know why club golfers use them. The ability to hit it the exact distance you measure out is so far away for a non-pro golfer, just hit the damn ball.
