ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia associate head coach Antonio Reynolds Dean has been tabbed one 100 most impactful/influential high major assistant coaches in college basketball by Silver Waves Media. A native of Atlanta, Reynolds Dean is beginning his fifth season with the Bulldogs. He joined the program shortly after Mike White was named head coach in 2022 and since then, Georgia has shown consistent and impressive growth each season.
ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia women's golf team will head to Virginia Beach, Va., this weekend to compete in the Evie Odom Invitational. Hosted by Old Dominion University, the 54-hole tournament will begin Friday at Princess Anne Country Club. The teams are Belmont, Bowling Green State, Coastal Carolina, Georgetown, Georgia, Lehigh, Louisville, North Florida, Old Dominion, Penn State, Sacramento State, South Alabama, South Carolina, and William & Mary. Georgia will be paired with Sacramento State and South Alabama on Friday, teeing off at holes Nos. 7-10. The players are Sydney Givens, Ashley Shaw, Karoline Tuttle, Gabriella Albert, and Liva Krol Anderson, with Maria Garcia competing as an individual.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference on Thursday announced its 2026 SEC Football Legends class includes former Bulldog head coach Mark Richt and other former football standouts who will be honored at events surrounding the SEC Football Championship Game in Atlanta in December. A 2023 College Football Hall of Famer, Richt coached the Bulldogs from 2001-15 after arriving at Georgia determined to lift a program that had gone two decades without an SEC title. In 15 seasons he delivered two SEC championships (2002, 2005), five Eastern Division titles and a share of another, compiling a 145-51 record that ranked fifth nationally among active coaches in winning percentage. He was named SEC Coach of the Year in both title seasons and became one of only seven coaches to win two league championships in his first five years, also posting four straight 10-win campaigns from 2002–05. Off the field, 301 Bulldogs earned degrees under his watch, and he received the 2013 Stallings Award for humanitarian service. A noted quarterback developer, Richt guided David Greene, D.J. Shockley, Matthew Stafford and Aaron Murray to record-setting careers while sending 77 players to the NFL Draft. His teams were 60-11 against non-conference foes and 49-16 in opponents' stadiums, building a culture of high standards and lasting unity among Georgia fans.
ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia soccer remains home to host Ole Miss for the first time in four season Friday evening at Turner. The Bulldogs narrowly lead the all-time series, 13-11-3. Friday's match is a Pink Out at the Turner Soccer Complex in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The first 500 spectators will receive a free Georgia Soccer Pink Out T-shirt at halftime. Georgia returns to the road to face No. 5/4 Alabama on Thursday, Oct. 15 in Tuscaloosa. Kick is scheduled for 7 p.m. EDT.

MADISON, Wis. — Georgia men's and women's cross country teams are set to travel to Madison, Wis., for the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, hosted by Wisconsin, on Friday at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course. The No. 26-ranked men will go up against their toughest test of the season. Friday morning 17 ranked teams are set to compete. The women will compete against 17 ranked teams also. Senior Valentin Soca will make his Bulldog debut this weekend fresh off two gold medal finishes in both the 1500m and 5000m races at the South American Championships. Competition will begin at 11:30 p.m. CT on Saturday morning with the women's 6K Championship race, followed by the men's 8K Championship race at 12:10 p.m. ET.
