Every season in the Kirby Smart era it appears to me that the defense gets faster. No way to prove it of course but the creases, if present, just close so fast. And very few opponents don't get hawked down by a Bulldawg defender if they find a gap. Years from now someone on this staff may leak individuals 40 yd times from these magnificent defenses. If so, I'd be surprised if these defenses, even to the 2's and 3's aren't faster every single year. As old Erk Russell said" if they can't score, we can't lose". Man, these ARE the good old days!
