UGA is a top 20 public university for 11 consecutive years.

The University of Georgia has been ranked in the top 20 public universities in the United States for 11 consecutive years, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s 2027 rankings. Currently, UGA is tied with Virginia Tech and William & Mary for No. 19. U.S. News & World Report ranks institutions in the U.S. using different factors, such as graduation rates, retention rates, faculty research productivity, peer assessment and social mobility. 

UGA also had notable individual achievements in their rankings. U.S. News ranked UGA No. 21 among the best value schools for in-state students in the U.S. 

Multiple undergraduate programs in the Terry College of Business were ranked top 20 in their respective categories,

The insurance program at Terry College was ranked No. 2.

The real-estate program is ranked No. 5.

The management information systems program is ranked No. 11. 

Terry College’s accounting program is ranked No. 24 this year.
