I'm the outlier, I've always loved the "alternate" unis. I think there's enough history on several "versions" that could give us great options without compromising UGA history.

I don't really have a problem so much with it, but I have a bad taste in my mouth about it fom the Florida game where we came out looking like Grambling in black helmets and we got stomped by the Gators like we were Grambling.  And the funeral game vs. Alabama of course, and the pro-combat uniforms that got beat by Boise St. in the dome.  Our timing on choice of those alternate looks was terrible.  It seems like the players get more hyped over wearing those things than they do for the game itself.

Don't mind them either, if they look good.  These all-white ones aren't gonna be at the top of the list.  They aren't as bad as the Gramblin uniforms, nor the boise State uniforms.  But not as good as the black jerseys or the alternate road ones we wore at Arkansas in 2020.

Oregon has turned it into a recruiting tool.   There are a few other programs out there that do a good job of selling their uni's to recruits too.  

I don't disagree that there's a large element that is about selling the product.  But, I think it's a huge attraction for players.   

If you don't think the white and black unis are popular...look at the pics the recruit's post.   About 60% of all of them are white.

That too!  But, it's amazing how many times you hear recruits mention the uni's.   PLus, this was a thing there before NIL...and, NO ONE was getting paid then to play!

First game of the season I think.  Place will be packed.  Luckily it will be broadcast on SECN+, so the tv audience will be tiny. 

It will be our private shame.
