OMAHA, Neb. –Oklahoma beat Georgia 11-4 in the semifinals of the College World Series Wednesday as the Bulldogs season ended at Charles Schwab Field in front of a crowd of 24,446.

Georgia finishes the season with a 53-14 mark, and the 53 wins is a school record. The Bulldogs won the SEC regular season title for the first time since 2008, claimed the school's first SEC Tournament title and advanced to the College World Series for the first time since 2008. Georgia placed tied for third at the CWS with a 2-2 mark.
