Woof .....

AUBURN, Ala. --- The Georgia women used two individual titles to take third while the men had one conference champion to help them finish fifth as the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Championships wrapped up in Auburn, Ala., Saturday.

Senior Dejanea Oakley ran the second-fastest 400-meter dash in collegiate history with a 48.92 to shatter Aaliyah Butler's school record as well as the meet record to earn a gold medal in the event.  Butler won Georgia's first SEC women's 400m title last year.

Later in the meet, redshirt freshman Adaejah Hodge rocketed to No. 4 on the all-time collegiate performer list with a 21.92 to capture Georgia's first women's 200m championship since Olympic medalist Lynna Irby placed first in 2018.  Hodge's time passes her own school record of 22.10 registered at this year's Spec Towns Invitational.

The men's highlight of the day came in the high jump as junior Kimani Jack completed the SEC indoor-outdoor sweep thanks to clearing 2.23 meters/7 feet, 3 ¾ inches.  He gives the Bulldogs two titles in a row in the event after teammate Riyon Rankin won in 2025.

Florida won the women's team race with 107 points while Alabama (91.5) and Georgia (90) rounded out the top three.  Arkansas (110.5) was the top finisher on the men's side with Alabama (94.5), Florida (78), Texas A&M (64.5) and Georgia (64) finishing behind the Razorbacks. The qualified Bulldogs will now compete in the NCAA East Prelims in Lexington, Ky., on May 27-30.

ATHENS, Ga. – The 10th-seeded Georgia Bulldogs raced past UNC Greensboro, 8-0 (5 inn.) on Saturday afternoon at the Jack Turner Stadium to advance to the 2026 NCAA Athens Regional final. Georgia reached the 40-win mark with the result to sit at 40-18 on the year. The 10th-seeded Bulldogs will play in the 2026 NCAA Athens Regional final against Clemson. Clemson has to win twice to advance.

ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (22-6, 12-3 SEC) fell in the NCAA Semifinal to No. 4 Texas A&M (27-5, 13-2 SEC) 4-3 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on Saturday night. Arrrgh!

AUBURN, ALA. – Fourth-ranked Auburn baseball team snapped No. 5 Georgia's 11-games winning streak Saturday with a 14-4 decision to salvage the final game of the series at Plainsman Park.
