·       Right, how much can one really tell from the first game of the year?
·       Never-the-less
·       Some random thoughts
·       If Week One is any indication, Arch and the Clemson quarterbacks need not worry about the Heisman
·       And…..Arch may not be going pro at the end of the season
·       Tough first week for the SEC – BAMA and Texas going down….not good for the overall brand
·       Auburn hired a western coach from Boise State
·       BAMA hired a western coach from Washington
·       Neither seems to have thrived or is thriving
·       A pattern or a coincidence?
·       LSU? Tennessee? Missouri? 
·       Time will tell
·       That was quite a turd in a punchbowl in Clemson, South Carolina last night for those Tiger fans
·       I enjoyed it immensely
·       Georgia
·       I agree with the announcers…..Gunner was a B+.  Solid if unspectacular……..
·       It was good to see a Bobo team score in the first half
·       Defense, overall, looked good
·       Receivers seemed improved over last year…….
·       Remember our running backs about a decade ago?
·       We always seemed to have one or two who could break big carries into the open field…..
·       Some good runs yesterday….but nothing like years past
·       Glad to see such a big crowd for a lesser opponent…….at least for a half…..
·       I graduated from Georgia in 1975
·       At the time, it was about 20% female
·       It is now 60% or more female
·       Yet, reports show this generation is having much less sex than our generation…..
·       Just consider the irony of this………
·       Suffice to say the UGA ladies looked good yesterday…..even if unavailable…..
·       Sad to see Corso go…..
·       Still wish the SEC would pull out of ESPN………they just don’t capture the SEC well at all….they simply don’t understand or appreciate the culture
·       So there you have it.  Fire away…………..

·       I am over to Asheville Wednesday for lunch with a former student who has done very well and the head of the Convention and Visitors Bureau…
·       Tourism is still way down because of the hurricane…….
·       Then lunch Thursday at the Linville Ridge Country Club…….the highest course east of the Mississippi…..great views there……three old buddies….
·       Both if these beat the Wendy’s salads I usually have……….

Was happy to see a lot of players get in the game. Live reps can't be replaced in practice. I think we played a very vanilla game plan as well. UT will be the real first test for us in a couple weeks. Happy to see Bama suck.
