Over 5.5 inches of rain in less than 3 hours

This pickup driver was supposed to be placing cones and a portable flashing sign on Lakeview Drive
 near Lake Winnie Amusement Park to warn people of the flooding.  He got washed into the huge 8 foot wide 4 foot deep ditch that runs alongside Lakeview Drive for about a mile.

I hope everyone made it out of those three cars disappearing into the water on that next to last pic.

From what I've read there were no drownings.  35 successful rescues.
The only deaths I've seen reported was 2 adults and one child killed when a large tree fell on their car.
