You get to pick one of the three so it would only shoot ya one way.

Would be a good saddle gun but accuracy beyond about 100yds would be poor.  Classic Marlin 30-30 would be a better option imo.  Would hit harder and be more accurate.

I think I was the only person I knew in HS that didn't have one in 30-30.  I had (still have) a .308 Parker Hale bolt action.  It is the only deer rifle I have ever owned.  I thought I was going to be a big deer hunter when I was about 16, found out I really didn't like deer hunting and loved bird hunting much more.  I have killed exactly one deer in my life.  I do not have the ability to sit still for a long time waiting for a deer to happen by.  I have seen a lot deer as they run away from me because of my inability to sit still.

I wonder how many Marlin 30-30's Kmart sold. That was the gun back in the day.
