We had a cat that thought a toilet paper roll with any paper hanging off of it was some sort of prey. He would empty the roll and shred the TP into confetti sized pieces.

It was funny the first time.

  Keeping the bathroom door closed became a high priority for y'all I'd imagine.

Or turn the toilet paper around so the cat spun it in a direction that kept it wound up. Or, get rid of the cat.
