I remember people in the trees down in the southeast corner of the stadium.  Some had ropes and climbing gear and were WAY up in the air.  The couches on the bridge were always amazing to me when I was a little kid going to games.  There were thousands of beer cans and bottles along the bridge after the games.

My dad got season tickets back then.  He dropped his tickets after the 1980 season when the donation per seat skyrocketed from $25 to $100.  He said he could do better with the scalpers than the university.

I was 20 and watched that game at home with my brother. 21-0.

I was there.  It was the wildest football weekend I've ever, ever, seen in Athens.  Roads through town closed.  And.  The BAMA team stayed with us that night at the Holiday Inn.  Nobody got any sleep that night.
