I hope so. Kirby has to start having zero tolerance. Justified or not, Georgia has the reputation as an outlaw football program.

These are not kids "making mistakes". Driving 100 mph, having weed in the car, hitting girlfriends, etc. are not things done by mistake, they are conscious decisions. This isn't normal behavior for young adults, these are thugs with no respect for the law or rules of society.

NIL contracts need to have clauses where payments stop immediately upon any arrest and only resume if charges are dropped.

Word on the street (to my chagrin) is that we will keep him

I don’t like it at all.

Could you imagine if Dooley’s player had been going 100 with a pound of weed? ??

If so, Kirby has no defense to any criticism of the program regarding breaking the law.

Where have you read he had a pound of weed? Did they get him on radar, or a guesstimate of the cop that was following?  Was he impaired, or his car just stinks of weed?

In case you didn’t notice, I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night Smile

As a group, teenage males are not known for impulse control. They care not at all about morals, mores, laws, or any future beyond their single-minded pursuit of cheap thrills.

I am your guy for construction litigation.   Not so much criminal law.    Have not touched it since I worked for Ed Tolley.

It appears there's a shortage of solid citizens with the needed skillz. I got sick of my team get out atheleted during the Dooley years. If these kids can stay out of the penitentury ; I would suit 'em up and sic'em on our opponents finest. I don't give a hoot what the losers think, write or say about who's an outlaw. Just win, baby. Let the losers say what they will. Put another chrystal football in the trophy case and let the devil take the rest . I ain't wringin' my hands over character issues. I remember when UGA graduated football players who became doctors, dentists, even lawyers! I like the teams we have now mo' better.
