It was touch and go for a while..

Crazy weather the last 36 hours in NWGA. Yesterday about noon it was 78F in Rossville. Walked the dog in shorts, tank top & sandals.

Last night at 2:30 AM a line of storms came through with 50 mph winds and torrential rain, nearly 2" in just a little over an hour. Just before the storm line it was still 50F.

Temp dropped to 37F by 10 AM.

At 1 PM it started sleeting before turning into snow. Snowed so hard it turned the ground white even though the ground was still fairly warm from yesterday. By 5 PM sun was out and the dusting of snow melted.

Temp going down to 24F tonight.

Spring wants to come, but winter doesn't want to let go.
