Is McCoy hurt?  I don't recall seeing him play for quite a while.

Guessing you're asking about Josh McCray? He played 3-4 snaps vs. Florida.

Yes, that is what I meant.  I missed him playing.  I had optimism he was going to be a difference maker.  He hasn't looked that way so far.

RB rundown...to the best of my knowledge:

Nate - Solid workhorse - He's dramatically changed his running stile for ball security. So much so, he's not a dynamic back anymore.
Bowens - Best all around back on our team at the moment. He's been slowed by a calf injury and is finally getting back healthy.
Cash - Cash is what he is...coaches love him and he has some skill. Should never be asked to run between the tackles.
Josh McCray - Transfer that has good eyes and power. 3 yds and cloud of dust type back. If we need 1-2 yds, he's the guy.
Bo Walker - True Freshman that has some good skill. Was the talk of camp, but hasn't contributed much for the season. Small enough to hide behind the line...but, built like a bowling ball.
Rodrick Robinson - Power back that has been plagued by injury for his entire UGA career. Would win the underwear Olympics 95% of the time. Expecting him to portal. Healthy, but not playing much like a beleaguered DB that was burnt toast for the first two games.

Thanks, good info.  Agree on Nate, I have to say I'm glad to see his new emphasis on ball security.  I heard good things about Walker too before the season.  I'm guessing his size is keeping him off the field.  RodRob has been another in a long line of Georgia RBs whose careers were derailed by injury.  Cash, what can you say?  He gave his all last season when we had zero RB depth but he is a number four back at best.  A healthy Bowens is our best RB by far.

We paid a lot for Nate.  Nate starts.

Thank for the rundown. Didn't see DP20 mentioned.   He's on the small side at 185 but showed some real speed early in the season on a few outside plays.   Is he healthy?

Dang, totally forgot peanut and no one corrected me.   He’s healthy and I think he will get more run.   One of the top 3-4 fastest players on the team.    Just shouldn’t run between the tackles.

Good point and I haven’t thought of it that way…but, yes.    Peanut has 4-5 plays they’ve set aside for
Him.    Most of them are toss sweeps, or outside the tackles trying to get his speed to the edge.

I’d like to see him get Cash’s snaps, I’ll say that.

Coaches trust Cash to not fumble and not do anything stupid.  He's also fast, so that makes them comfortable with him.  That said, he is not much of a threat to break a big play or get that extra two yards.

Maybe it’s bad luck, especially this year, but when a potential big play doesn’t turn out well, seems like $ is in the game at the time.
