12 interceptions in a 6 game stretch.   Remember when we had to get him a couple of short throws to get his confidence and touch down?   The kid has some talent and will get his shot on Sundays.   Heck, he may be better in the NFL where they don’t really care if you’re a good teammate.   But, for all of Bobo’s flaws, he had to coach around Beck’s issues.  Remember us starting 4-5 games with long throws?   You don’t because it didn’t happen.  

Gunner may be a total flop.   But, he has the support of his team and we don’t have to coach around his fragility.   Fortunately, Beck remembered what color his team was wearing before the season was over.   

I’ll say it out loud here, I’m old and I know I’m just yelling at clouds…but, if you leave my team just to go to the same situation (actually worse) somewhere else, don’t expect me to pull for you.   

In Becks case I say “good riddance”!    We will be far better without him.

No doubt, but, my point was they didn't trust him to throw long or even intermediate first couple of plays of the game.   I'll also double down and say Beck's lack of connection and care about the receivers didn't help the drops any.

Opinions vary…obviously that game wasn’t necessary to win it ALL.  We were a 1 loss team with any semblance of D in Tuscaloosa.

This is a true statement. For sure beat ND. People forget how close that game really was and we couldn't move on offense at all. I was screaming the moment they let Gunner drop back with his long release inside our own 20 at the end of the half. Just knew that was coming. 
Then, when was the last time we had a kickoff run back against us. Two plays. That's it. Beck would have made a difference.

meh, that 1st half mirrored so many of our other games last year that we took over in the 2nd half.
