who was the greatest Dog to wear #44?  Ben Zambiasi?  

Zambiasi was one of the greatest Dawgs ever.  I was convinced he was going to personally shut Tony Dorsett down in the Sugar Bowl.  Dorsett's rushing total in that game was the Sugar Bowl record until Slaton from WVU broke it against Georgia in the 2006 game. 

The 2006 Sugar Bowl was the first inkling I had that Richt may not be the guy to get us to a NC.

When Dogs fell behind 28-0 in the first quarter, I knew Preacherman probably wasn't going to ever get it us to the Promised Land.  He came close in 2012, but we were left in the desert waiting for a hero to save us someday.  

It’s a shame that Lewis wasn’t around to chronicle the ‘21 and ‘22 seasons.
