now flocking to SEC schools?  I just spoke with a guy from Boston and he has a kid at South Carolina and one at Allbarn.  The barn kid has a girlfriend that is matriculating in Athens.  What gives?

SCu has a ton of yankee kids. They actively market to Northern kids. They want the out of state tuition and the state of SC has a relatively small population with two major universities and lots of smaller colleges in the state. Clemson does the same thing.

My cousin lived in the Chicago area and one daughter went to SCu and the other went to Vanderbilt. The cost for SCu as an out of state student was about the same as in state would cost at the yankee schools and her daughter wanted to go to a warm place for school.
