EUGENE, Ore. --- Both senior Moustafa Alsherif and freshman Jayden Keys scored for expected First Team All-America honors to highlight the opening day of action at the NCAA Outdoor Championships Wednesday. Alsherif, a native of Cairo, Egypt, had his top effort in the javelin on his second try to take fourth after transferring into UGA before the school year. Keys, a native of Houston, Texas, complemented his Southeastern Conference title a month ago with an eighth-place finish. Team Scores: Minnesota (23 points) jumped out to the early lead on the men's side with New Mexico (18), Florida (18), Ole Miss (12) and Kansas (11.5) making up the rest of the top five. Georgia is currently in an eight-way tie for 11th with six points.

ATHENS, Ga.-----University of Georgia's Robbie Burnett and Ryland Zaborowski have been named First Team All-Americans by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), it was announced Wednesday.

ATHENS, Ga. – Dasha Vidmanova was named the 2025 Honda Sport Award winner for Tennis, Executive Director Chris Voelz of The Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) announced on Tuesday. She is the 21st Honda Sport Award winner in Georgia history, marking the fourth for women's tennis and the first since 2016-17 (Kendall Williams, track and field).
