Woof™ For 16th Best Season in History of UGA Football #6 Final AP Poll (SEC Champs)
ATHENS-----For the second consecutive year and eighth time in school history, the University of Georgia will serve as one of 16 regional hosts for the 2025 NCAA Baseball Tournament, the selection committee announced Sunday night. The three other teams that will join the Bulldogs at the NCAA Athens Regional will be announced on Monday, May 26 at noon ET on ESPN2 when the entire field of 64 and the top 16 national seeds are released. Regional competition is scheduled to take place at Foley Field from Friday-Monday, May 30-June 2. After the ESPN family of networks set the television matchups, a complete Athens Regional schedule will be announced Monday. Third-ranked Georgia has posted a 42-15 record including 18-12 in the rugged Southeastern Conference in the second season under head baseball coach Wes Johnson. Also, Johnson becomes the first UGA baseball coach to take his first two teams to the NCAA Tournament. His combined mark of 85-32 (35-25 SEC) is the most overall victories and SEC wins by a coach in their first two seasons in Georgia baseball history.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Georgia softball team fell to third-seeded Florida on Sunday, 5-2, ending its 2025 season in the NCAA Super Regional. Georgia concludes the season 35-22 in its 14th NCAA Super Regional appearance and third straight.
CARLSBAD, CA. — The Georgia men's golf team teed off in the third round of the NCAA Championship this afternoon at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California. Shooting against a field of thirty teams, the Bulldogs ended play tonight in 22nd place at a collective 31-over. No. 22 Georgia ended the final round of stroke play in 22nd place, right where they are ranked. The leaderboard is topped by No. 1 Auburn at ten-under. The Podium is rounded out by No. 5 Arizona State and No. 6 Oklahoma with No. 7 Florida, No. 2 Oklahoma State, No. 4 Texas, No. 9 Florida State, No. 24 Texas Tech, No. 10 Virginia, No. 19 BYU, No. 21 Pepperdine, No. 16 Vanderbilt and No. 26 Georgia Tech advancing alongside them.
So... all the UGA Sports season are over except for Baseball and both Track Teams. I don't see where they had Women's Singles or Doubles Brackets for Tennis other than last November. I didn't see any UGA Men doing anything in Tennis or Golf past the team efforts.
