GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Senior Lilli Backes' pitching performance on Saturday lifted the Georgia Bulldogs to a 2-1 victory over the (3) Florida Gators on Saturday in the Gainesville Super Regional. The win forces a winner-take-all game three of the Super Regional. Sunday's winner will advance to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City. Georgia will be looking for its sixth program appearance in the WCWS. First pitch on Sunday is set for 4 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN.

CARLSBAD, CA. — The Georgia men's No. 22 golf team teed off in the second round of the NCAA Championship this morning at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California. Shooting against a field of thirty teams, the Bulldogs ended play tonight in 21st place at a collective 18-over. The Bulldogs will be back in action for round three of the NCAA Championship tomorrow morning. After the first three rounds, the top 15 teams will have a final day of stroke play before the final eight move on to match play.
