Scouting each of Georgia's 2025 opponents .....

Marshall has a new coach  and his first season is going to be a difficult one, and starting the season at Georgia is one heck of a hurdle.

While Austin Peay may take a step forward in Year 2, the Govs will be no match for the Bulldogs in early September.

This will be a significant road test early in the season for Georgia, but the Vols breaking in a new starting QB does ease the tension somewhat.

The Alabama game being in Athens is a boost for the Bulldogs, but it certainly guarantees nothing in this series.

The Wildcats missed their opportunity to upset the Bulldogs last year, and I don't think this group has enough talent to make it happen on the road.

I see Auburn as the toughest road game for Georgia this season. If the Tigers' defense replicates last year's success and the offense finds consistency with Arnold, Auburn will hover around the 9-win mark in 2025.

I think Ole Miss lost too much on defense to beat Georgia again, but just know these Rebels will not be push-overs.

If Lagway is healthy and the defense fills some key holes, this year's game in Jacksonville will be just as entertaining as last year's.

I see Mississippi State flirting with bowl eligibility but not much more than that this fall.

I expect Texas to be a championship contender once again. I see the Nov. 15 meeting in Athens as the biggest regular-season game for both teams.

I think Albin can make the 49ers a contender in due time, but this season will be a rough one as he puts down his roots.

We'll learn a lot from the Yellow Jackets' season opener at Colorado. They'll be driven to take down Georgia in Mercedes-Benz Stadium come Black Friday, though I don't think these Jackets will have enough to finish the drill.

Cool

AU and UF are the two I think will be the toughest this season. Bama is in Bobo and Kirby's head, sort of like UF was for Richt. We should be able to beat Bama but that could be the shit the bed game.
