I wanted to check that place out, but I don't know if they got their lease situation figured out.  It sounded like their landlord was a real prick, but they weren't the most sofisticated of folks, so they didn't have a formal lease in place or something and the landlord locked them out after they spent months and a good bit of money refurbishing the place for their use.

I tried but they were locked down. In my humble opinion, the Winder city fathers are losing out on revenue. They should promote the place, yeah, I know promoting crime and bad people, but it would draw some people who would like to see and touch some of those places talked about in that blog (don't really know what a blog is but that story is fascinating. Have friends one has been on the Dawg Vent (I'll always call this place that), who knew those guys and grew up in Winder. Anyway, seems a opportunity missed.
