ATHENS, Ga. --- The University of Georgia Class of 2025 will feature 95 Student Athletes who are expected to receive their degrees this week. 

ATHENS, Ga. – The 12th-seeded Georgia Bulldogs fell to fifth-seeded Arkansas, 5-1, on a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh in the second round of the SEC Tournament on Wednesday at Jack Turner Stadium. Georgia will take a 31-20 season record into the NCAA Tournament. Georgia will await the NCAA Tournament Selection Show. The show will air on Sunday, May 11 at 7 p.m. ET live on ESPN2.

ATHENS, Ga. — The University of Georgia women's golf program has signed transfers Maria Garcia and Sydney Givens ahead of the 2025-26 season, head coach Erika Brennan announced on Wednesday. Garcia arrives in Athens following one season at the University of New Mexico, where she led the Lobos with two top-five and three top-10 tournament finishes during her freshman campaign. Givens becomes the second transfer to join the Bulldogs from the University of Colorado along with graduate transfer Maria Eidhagen Harrouch, who signed with Georgia in April. During her freshman season, Givens led the Buffaloes in stroke average (73.59) with the team's low-18 (67) and low-54 (211) scores during the 2024-25 campaign. 

ATHENS, Ga. – Anna Becker has been promoted to the associate head coach of the Georgia equestrian program effective immediately, head coach Meghan Boenig announced Wednesday. A collegiate rider herself, Becker contributed to two SEC Championships, two Hunt Seat National Championships, and two team National Championships at Auburn University from 2010-2013. Becker, the 2021 NCEA Assistant Coach of the Year, has coached the Fences squad as well as recruited for the Jumping Seat discipline since 2018. Under Becker, the Bulldogs won the Fences event at the 2019 NCEA National Championship. The 2025-26 season will mark her eighth season with the Bulldogs.
