BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas --- Jordan Fick recorded top-10 marks in three of five events in the decathlon on Friday to finish his opening day of competition in third place at the 44 Farms Team Invitational. Ella Rush finished day one of competition in 11th place. Fick and Rush will complete the decathlon and heptathlon on Saturday afternoon, with the decathlon set to resume with the 110m hurdles at 11:30 a.m. ET and the heptathlon to continue with the long jump at 12:30 p.m.

ATHENS, Ga. --- The University of Georgia will hold its annual lettermen's flag football game prior to the G-Day spring game on Saturday, April 12 on Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium.  Nearly 60 Bulldog letterwinners from six different decades are expected to participate in the game. Gates are scheduled to open at 10:30 a.m. and the lettermen's game will start at 10:45.  Kickoff for G-Day is slated for 1 p.m.

AUBURN, Ala. – The 18th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs softball team dropped a back-and-forth battle against the Auburn Tigers in Friday's series opener, 11-10. Georgia is now 26-14 on the season and 4-11 in SEC play.

AUSTIN, Texas — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (20-2, 13-1 SEC) suffered its first loss in Southeastern Conference play, falling to No. 14 Texas (14-9, 8-6 SEC) 4-2, at the Texas Tennis Center on Friday. The No. 1 Bulldogs will close out the regular season in a rematch of the 2025 ITA National Team Indoor Championships title match against No. 2 Texas A&M on Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. ET in College Station, Texas.

ATHENS, Ga. – Top-ranked Arkansas baseball defeated seventh-ranked Georgia 13-3 in front of a sellout Foley Field crowd of 3,633 Friday.

ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 31 University of Georgia men's tennis team fell at home to No. 3 Texas, 4-2, on Friday evening at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs slide to 14-10 (7-6 SEC), and the Longhorns climb to 22-3 (13-0 SEC). The Bulldogs remain at home for Sunday's match against No. 14 Texas A&M beginning at 1 p.m. E.T. Georgia will celebrate Senior Day and festivities begin at 12:30 p.m. E.T.
