The Georgia Bulldogs secured a commitment from junior college (JUCO) defensive back recruit Alius Mayo to fortify Georgia's class of 2027. Mayo is the nation's No. 1 JUCO recruit and flipped his commitment from California to Georgia. His decision is massive for Georgia because he is the Bulldogs' first cornerback commitment in the 2027 recruiting cycle.
The Bulldogs now have the nation's No. 9 recruiting class and 21 total commitments. Georgia is ranked behind three other SEC programs in 247Sports' recruiting rankings.
