Back in the 1960's the Sooners showed some interest in hiring Coach Dooley; I have often wondered how he might have worked out there. He would have had more resources but also much higher expectations. Anybody have an opinion?

I think he would have had overall better talent at OU than at Georgia back then.  I wonder if he would have run the wishbone?

I remember some noise about Dooley being courted by Auburn right after the 1980 NC.  Lots of people were worried about it.  I was ready for him to go and for Georgia to hire Pat Dye as head coach.
