ATLANTA – With three All-American performances on the first day of competition, the University of Georgia women's swimming and diving team opened strongly at the 2026 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships Wednesday at the McAuley Aquatic Center. Following one night of competition, Georgia ranks 10th overall with 34 points. 1,650y Freestyle – Freshmen Kennedi Dobson and Clarke Neace each earned their first career All-America citations in the mile. Dobson placed sixth with a time of 15:46.97, the second-fastest of her career. Neace finished 14th overall. 800y Freestyle Relay – Seniors Ieva Maluka and Shea Furse, sophomore Marie Landreneau, and Dobson finished ninth with a time of 6:55.65, earning Second Team All-America honors. 

IOWA CITY, Iowa - The No. 24-ranked Georgia women's basketball makes its 37th appearance in the NCAA tournament with a trip to Iowa City, Iowa for the first and second rounds. The Lady Bulldogs will play the winner of the Arizona State versus Virginia game on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The Lady Bulldogs' 37 trips to the Big Dance are tied for third most among all NCAA women's basketball programs. Tennessee leads with 44, followed by Texas with 38. Georgia, UConn and Stanford all rank third at 37. This year's Georgia team had the best single-season turnaround in school history and was tops in the SEC from last year to this year. After going 13-19 a season ago, Georgia improved its win total by nine games with a 22-9 overall mark.

ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (10-3, 5-2 SEC) returns home to host two conference matches following a four-match road stint. The Bulldogs will face No. 17 Florida (10-3, 5-2 SEC) on Thursday at 5 p.m. ET before taking on No. 4 Auburn (23-1, 7-0 SEC) on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. Georgia has won nine straight matches against Florida despite trailing 51-24 in the all-time series. Georgia leads Auburn 61-9 in the all-time series.  Georgia features five players in the singles rankings: No. 6 Aysegul Mert, No. 28 Anastasiia Lopata, No. 42 Anastasiia Gureva, No. 68 Deniz Dilek and No. 97 Sofia Rojas. The Bulldogs also have three ranked doubles teams. The top pairing of Dilek and Mert is ranked No. 7. Dilek and Emma Dong are No. 62, while Mert and Gureva are No. 69.
