ATHENS, Ga. ----- With the 2026 college baseball season arriving soon, the Bulldogs garnered another preseason top 25 ranking plus a trio earned special distinction. The D1Baseball staff voted Georgia No. 15 in its preseason poll and projected it will be one of 13 SEC teams to earn an NCAA Regional bid in 2026. Also, D1Baseball named Bulldog sophomore Kenny Ishikiawa a 2nd Team Preseason All-American as a utility player. In related baseball news, Baseball America recently released its preseason "All-Underrated Team," and a pair of Bulldogs made the list in junior catcher Daniel Jackson and senior third baseman Michael O'Shaughnessy. The Bulldogs have been ranked as high as No. 6 in the preseason top 25 polls. Georgia will open the 2026 season Friday, Feb. 13 against Wright State. 

ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia men's basketball wraps up a two-game homestand by hosting league-leading Texas A&M at Stegeman Coliseum on Saturday in a 1:00 p.m. matinee matchup. The Bulldogs are looking to bounce back from an 86-85 overtime loss to Tennessee on Wednesday, Georgia's school-record fourth OT contest of the 2025-26 season. Georgia's home court advantage? It's real and it's Stegtacular. 

ATHENS, Ga. - No. 7/16 Men's and Women's Georgia swimming and diving Hosts Emory for Senior Day. Georgia closes out its regular season with the annual Senior Day meet against Division III power Emory, currently ranked second in the CSCAA coaches poll. This is the eighth time in the past 10 seasons in which the Eagles have faced the Bulldogs on Senior Day. Select members of the Georgia men's and women's teams will compete in the Auburn First Chance Invitational next Friday and Saturday in Auburn, Alabama. Following Auburn, the SEC Swimming & Diving Championships run Monday, Feb. 16 through Saturday, Feb. 21 at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

MARTIN, Tenn. – The second-ranked University of Georgia equestrian team defeated UT Martin, 13-5, on Friday at the Ned McWherter Ag Complex in Martin, Tennessee. Georgia will return home to Bishop to take on fifth-ranked Texas A&M on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 11 a.m.

ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 8 Georgia GymDogs recorded a season-high 197.675 to defeat Central Michigan (195.900), Temple (192.200), and Fisk (188.775) in a quad meet on Friday night at Stegeman Coliseum in front of a crowd of 7,012. The GymDogs will return to Stegeman to host No. 11 Auburn for a dual meet on Sunday, Feb. 1.

Fayetteville, Ark. — Georgia track & field opens day one of Arkansas' Razorback Invitational by setting an NCAA lead and making an appearance on the all-time best list on Friday night.  Redshirt-sophmore Adaejah Hodge made an impressive debut winning the women's 200 meter dash and tying the meet record at 22.53. Hodge's time serves as a new 2026 world lead and ranks No. 25 on the indoor collegiate list all-time.

Fans planning to attend Saturday's UGA Men's Basketball game at Stegeman Coliseum or UGA Swimming and Diving meet at the Ramsey Center should be aware that Governor Kemp is encouraging those in North and East Georgia to stay off the roads whenever possible Saturday.
