Gabe Harris has Turf Toe.
#1
Starting defensive end Gabe Harris is dealing with a turf toe injury. The 6-foot-4, 260-pound defender has 26 tackles and one sack this season. Harris' injury is reportedly minor, but turf toe is easy to reinjure, so Harris' status will be worth monitoring. If Harris is unable to play or limited, Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, Elo Modozie, JJ Hanne and Kris Jones would be expected to play more snaps. Jonah-Ajonye would be expected to absorb the largest part of that share.

Decent chance he doesn’t play against ole Mrs. May be out for the playoffs altogether. Been rolling around on a scooter since Bama. Hurt it first against Tech.

Sadly, those days are pretty much over.  Teams can't stockpile elite talent anymore.  The really good players want to play NOW and jump in the portal if they don't get their way.  Backups today are usually significantly worse than the starter.
