The student sections in the north stands near the band were designated to wear black. This provided a larger than usual number of coeds sporting little black dresses and black leather dresses. Mercy!!
That being said, I would gladly trade that, decibel level indicators on the Jumbotron, and fancy light shows, for a defense that doesn’t play like Swiss cheese for 2-3 quarters.
