The difference was; we played Clemson, SC, Texas A&M and a decent tech team as out of conference games at Sanford. The only "cupcake" game was TCU. Back then, the idea of playing UT Martin, Samford, Ball State, Southern, etc. was never even a consideration. Adding another SEC game will mean one less crappy cupcake game a season.
