Rockmart played up there. Blue Ridge is now very touristy. I had never been to proper downtown Blue Ridge until last Friday. There is a big ole' Hampton Inn right there on the main stretch of street right in the heart of old downtown Blue Ridge, right next to the railroad tracks. All of the businesses in downtown are now either restaurants/bars or gift shops. I'm gonna guess that a very high percentage of residents up that way weren't born anywhere near there.

Fannin County High School was quite nice. They definitely had top-notch facilities, complete with the new-style artificial playing surface.
